Reev Terms and Conditions

Last updated: July 2025

1 Accepting these Terms

Welcome to Reev, a dating application provided by Open Dialogue Pty Ltd (ACN 684 446 268) (Open Dialogue, we, us, our). "Reev" is our brand name and registered trade mark. Your contract is with Open Dialogue.

By verifying your mobile number and clicking "I accept" — before entering any further profile information — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (Terms). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2 Eligibility, Account & Representations

2.1 Eligibility

Reev is for adults 18 years and older. We may ask you to complete age‑verification steps (ID check or facial age estimation). If you cannot prove you are 18+, you cannot use Reev.

2.2 Account creation

You must create an account (Account) with accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for securing your credentials and for all activity on your Account.

2.3 Prohibited account conduct

You must not:

  • impersonate another person or entity;
  • create multiple or fraudulent Accounts;
  • share your login credentials;
  • obtain or share external contact details outside the authorised Reev flow.

2.4 Compliance with the Online Dating Industry Code

We comply with the Australian Online Dating Industry Code (in force since 1 April 2025). We may suspend, verify or remove Accounts to meet our Code obligations.

2.5 Law‑enforcement cooperation

We may preserve and disclose User Content and account information as required by law, subpoena or regulator request.

2.6 Representations

You represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 18 years old and legally entitled to enter this contract;
  • all information you provide is accurate and not misleading; and
  • you have all necessary rights to upload any User Content and doing so does not infringe any third‑party rights or violate any law.

3 The Reev Dating Experience

Reev guides users through four milestones:

Milestone What happens
Flash Date Live, timed speed‑date sessions with users who match your basic preferences.
First Date Premium users may browse profiles and send a direct request; others enter from a successful Flash Date.
Next Date Longer, structured conversation unlocked when both users mutually agree after a First Date.
Meet‑Up In‑person meeting or video call once milestone conditions are met. Users may then share contact details if both agree.

We may change session lengths, frequency or milestone requirements at our discretion. You are responsible for showing up at scheduled times; missed sessions do not entitle you to refunds.

4 Community Guidelines & Safety

4.1 Prohibited conduct

Users must not engage in:

  • hate speech;
  • harassment or bullying;
  • discrimination;
  • explicit sexual content or pornography;
  • spamming or scamming; or
  • any other illegal or harmful behaviour.

Violation may lead to suspension or termination without refund. Reev does not provide medical, psychological or relationship advice.

4.2 Safety when meeting offline

When arranging an in‑person Meet‑Up you must take reasonable precautions, such as meeting in a public place and informing a trusted contact.
