Last updated: January 2026

1 Accepting these Terms

Welcome to Reev, a dating application provided by Reev Australia Pty Ltd (ACN 684 446 268) ("Reev", "we", "us", "our"). "Reev" is our brand name and registered trade mark. Your contract is with Reev Australia Pty Ltd.

By creating an account, verifying your mobile number, tapping "Send Code", "Confirm", or otherwise continuing the signup process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (Terms).

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store personal information and forms part of your agreement with us.

If you do not agree to these Terms or the Privacy Policy, do not use the Services.

2 Eligibility, Account & Representations

2.1 Eligibility

Reev is for adults aged 18 years and older. We may require age-verification steps (such as ID verification or facial age estimation). If you cannot demonstrate that you are 18 or over, you may not use Reev.

2.2 Account creation

You must create an account (Account) using accurate and up-to-date information. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your Account and for keeping your login details secure.

2.3 Prohibited account conduct

You must not:

  • impersonate another person or entity;
  • create multiple or fraudulent Accounts;
  • share your login credentials; or
  • obtain or share external contact details outside the authorised Reev flow.

2.4 Compliance with the Online Dating Industry Code

We comply with the Australian Online Dating Industry Code (in force from 1 April 2025). We may suspend, verify, restrict, or remove Accounts to meet our obligations under the Code.

2.5 Law‑enforcement cooperation

We may preserve and disclose User Content or account information where required by law, subpoena, court order, or regulator request.

2.6 Representations

You represent and warrant that:

  • you are at least 18 years old and legally able to enter this agreement;
  • the information you provide is accurate and not misleading; and
  • you have all rights necessary to upload User Content and that doing so does not infringe any law or third-party rights.

3 The Reev Dating Experience

Reev guides users through a staged dating experience designed to encourage intentional and respectful connections.

Milestone What happens
First Date An initial voice interaction between users. A First Date may occur during scheduled Flash Date sessions or via direct date requests.
Next Date A longer, structured real-time interaction unlocked after mutual interest following a First Date. A Next Date may include voice interaction and, where available and mutually enabled, optional video features. Users may participate in one or more Next Dates with the same connection. If the required conditions for a Meet-Up are not met at the end of a Next Date, subsequent scheduled dates between the same users will continue to be treated as Next Dates until those conditions are met or the connection ends. Additional features may become available during a Next Date if certain conditions are met.
Video Chat An optional feature that may unlock during a Next Date once required conditions are met. Video chats only begin when both users consent.
Meet‑Up An in-person meeting arranged through the app once both users mutually agree they are ready to meet. Contact details may only be shared if both users agree.

We may change session lengths, frequency, features, or milestone requirements from time to time. You are responsible for attending scheduled sessions. Missed sessions caused by user non-attendance do not entitle you to refunds.

4 Community Guidelines & Safety

4.1 Prohibited conduct

Users must not engage in:

  • hate speech;
  • harassment, bullying, or coercion;
  • discrimination;
  • explicit sexual content or pornography;
  • spamming or scamming; or
  • any other illegal or harmful behaviour.

Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspension, or permanent removal of your Account, without refund.

Reev does not provide medical, psychological, or relationship advice.

4.2 Safety when meeting offline

When arranging an in-person Meet-Up, you are responsible for taking reasonable precautions, including meeting in public places and informing a trusted contact.

Reev does not guarantee user safety. If you believe you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

Use of the Services is also governed by our Safety Policy, which outlines acceptable behaviour and enforcement processes.

4.3 Blocking and Reporting

Users may block other users after an interaction has occurred. Blocking immediately prevents further interaction and removes the blocked user and their content from the blocking user's experience.

Blocking notifies Reev of potential violations of these Terms or our Safety Policy. Reev may review such reports and take enforcement action, including content removal, account restriction, suspension, or termination.

Reev has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Blocking is irreversible and overrides any paid features or reconnection mechanisms.
